    This website contains video clips for a variety of topics and you can fill in the text and check your answers.  When you go to this page click on 35 French videos or 16 Spanish videos and click on the topic you want to practise.

  • Standard Grade Bitesize Revision

    Each subject in Standard Grade Bitesize is made up of Revision Bites and Test Bites.  The Revision Bites focus on individual key concepts, broken down into manageable chunks.  You can work through the whole Revision Bite or just the sections you need to work on then test yourself with the interactive quizzes to see how you're doing.  Alternatively, you can start with a Test Bite to check which areas you need to work on.

  • Linguascope

    This website contains games and quizzes on all topics included in the Standard Grade course.  The vocabulary is fairly basic but there is a section for GCSE (the English equivalent of Standard grade) students.  The topics are all in French or Spanish but if you hover over the words with the mouse an English translation will pop up.

  • Word Reference

    An online dictionary website for Spanish and French.  On the homepage click the language you want and type the word to find the translation.

  • Atantot

    An excellent website for practising all elements of the Standard Grade course.  Click on French then KS2 or KS3 to access vocab., games, quizzes and much more.  Hover the mouse over words if you don't understand them and the translation will be displayed.  Also use the links down the side to watch video clips and answer questions.

  • Reading Practice

    This website has a selection of reading questions.  It says GCSE level which is the English equivalent to our Standard Grades but if you use the GSE Foundation ones for our Foundation/General level and the GCSE Higher one for our Credit level you should be able to manage them.
