  This website contains self marking grammar and vocabulary exercises.  Click on Français or Español and click on the topic you want to revise.

  This website contains video clips for a variety of topics and you can fill in the text and check your answers.  When you go to this page click on 35 French videos or 16 Spanish videos and click on the topic you want to practise.

• Musselburgh Grammar School

  In this website you can practise all elements of the Standard Grade course.  From the main page click on The Learning Zone and then under departments click on French.  You can then click on any of the sections you wish to revise.

• Standard Grade Bitesize Revision

  Each subject in Standard Grade Bitesize is made up of Revision Bites and Test Bites.  The Revision Bites focus on individual key concepts, broken down into manageable chunks.  You can work through the whole Revision Bite or just the sections you need to work on then test yourself with the interactive quizzes to see how you're doing.  Alternatively, you can start with a Test Bite to check which areas you need to work on.

• Linguascope

  This website contains games and quizzes on all topics included in the Standard Grade course.  The vocabulary is fairly basic but there is a section for GCSE (the English equivalent of Standard grade) students.  The topics are all in French or Spanish but if you hover over the words with the mouse an English translation will pop up.

• Word Reference

  An online dictionary website for Spanish and French.  On the homepage click the language you want and type the word to find the translation.

• Atantot

  An excellent website for practising all elements of the Standard Grade course.  Click on French then KS2 or KS3 to access vocab., games, quizzes and much more.  Hover the mouse over words if you don't understand them and the translation will be displayed.  Also use the links down the side to watch video clips and answer questions.

  A website for practising vocabulary.  There are countless games for different topics.  From the homepage click on the arrow, then the French flag and choose what game you want to play.

• Reading Practice

  This website has a selection of reading questions.  It says GCSE level which is the English equivalent to our Standard Grades but if you use the GSE Foundation ones for our Foundation/General level and the GCSE Higher one for our Credit level you should be able to manage them.
